iiaa Centre of Excellence Recognition for Beauty Academies and Colleges
The International Institute for Anti-Ageing (iiaa) has introduced a Centre of Excellence scheme to provide special recognition to the colleges which now work with all three of the organisation’s brands: Advanced Nutrition Programme, jane iredale mineral make-up and Environ Skin Care.
The iiaa provides training courses in advanced professional skincare theory in addition to practical and product knowledge. This enables students to learn to treat skin effectively from the inside and out.Certified iiaa Centre of Excellence colleges receive a dedicated logo and additional retail sales training. This helps them to attract students who want a comprehensive education that creates industry-ready therapists who are attractive to employers for a variety of career paths.
The first colleges to hold the iiaa Centre of Excellence certification are Lee Stafford Hair & Beauty Academy at Chelmsford, Above & Beyond Therapy private academy in Sheffield, Coatbridge College in Scotland and Aspire Salon at Wiltshire College, Chippenham.
iiaa College Programme Manager Michele McKenzie attended the recent launch of the beauty department of the Lee Stafford Hair & Beauty Academy where Theresa Maddison, Lead Tutor Beauty, commented:
“Our team of tutors are committed to providing the highest quality training programmes so we’re delighted become an iiaa Centre of Excellence. We’ve taken on all the iiaa brands to give a well-rounded education in skincare, make-up and nutrition to our students up to NVQ level 3.”
