Furnitubes New Lambeth Street Furniture Range

Lambeth launch amazing line of design and enviromentally aware street furniture
Furnitubes International is proud to present their brand new Lambeth coordinated street furniture range, offering you the ultimate in furniture design. The Lambeth products are cast in tough S.G (Ductile) iron to deliver exceptional longevity and vandal resistance. Furnitubes Designers had the following to say about the thinking behind the new range.
“Important considerations during the design process for the Lambeth range were sustainability, visual consistency, access and vandal resistance. In order to reduce urban clutter we wanted to create a range of elements with a consistent visual theme, distinctive but still versatile enough to work in a variety of settings.”
“We used ductile cast iron because of its exceptional longevity and vandal resistance and combined it with cutting-edge materials and coatings to produce products with distinct advantages in terms of cost and performance.”
“We selected the most sustainable materials and processes throughout but used them to create elements of the highest possible quality. To make sure our streetscapes are accessible to all we considered the DDA requirements from the outset ensuring that all elements had appropriate and effective ergonomics.”
The Lambeth seat is available with 100% recycled plastic slats or FSC hardwood timber slats. The standard design is DDA compliant with two central arm-rests and complies with TfL’s streetscape guidance.
The Lambeth cycle stand is available plastic coated to provide an extremely durable finish and is available with symbols and logos on the tapper plate.
