Oracle Storage Systems
23 September 2013
This world renowned auction house needed to update their existing storage system to house a growing number of bound catalogues, dating back to 1766.
Oracle Storage Systems, designed, supplied and installed their UK manufactured mobile shelving system, to specifically house heavy catalogues in a confined space. The challenge was to design a bespoke system that was sympathetic to the established surroundings and the needs of the client.
The storage space given for this project is underground and difficult to access, meaning that the system supplied in the K.D. format was perfectly compatible.
A robust mobile shelving system was designed, giving full consideration to the size and weight of the stock, the available space, lighting conditions and the surroundings.
The infill floor enables easy trolley access to the system and prevents potential trip hazards.
