SS5000 Miniature High Output Universal Load Cell from Sherborne Sensors
29 April 2014
Sherborne Sensors SS5000 series is comprised of miniature, strain gauge based load cells designed to measure force in tension and compression.
Manufactured from stainless steel for shock and corrosion resistance, the integral signal amplification and integral voltage regulation provides a high level ±10 VDC output voltage from unregulated supplies. Four distinct measurement ranges are available from ±250N to ±2000N and the force transducers will operate with minimum errors over an operating temperature range of –25°C to 75°C.
Internally, a fully compensated Wheatstone bridge design ensures minimal temperature effects on both zero output and sensitivity. The load cells are ideally suited to precision tension/compression force measurement in industrial, aerospace and military applications.
