Did you know depending on where you are in the world, you may actually weigh a different amount?

The theory is that because the Earth isn’t a perfect sphere, gravitational strength differs wherever you go.

Well the guys at Kern Precision Scales decided to test this idea, and sent the (now famous) Kern Gnome on his travels around the world, packed only with a single set of Kern Scales, and stopping off at different destinations to weigh himself.

The results are very interesting, take a look for yourself at www.gnomeexperiment.com. All I will say is though if you’re hoping to lose a bit of weight, a short journey may not be such a bad idea!
