Micro-chips lifted by Microlift
Stannah MicroLifts, part of the Stannah Group, has reduced manual handling for a Southampton based capacitive touch controls manufacturer.
Quantum Research Groups’ high-tech components are being transported from the ground to first floor via the Microlift. The companys’ innovative touchpad technologies are sold to many blue-chip companies which support a large number of industry sectors and applications.
The ground floor of Quantum’s premises is dedicated to the heavy machinery required for the production of Quantum’s touch sensitive micro chips. The Stannah Microlift transports packaged micro controllers weighing 1-2 kg each from the ground floor to the stores on the first floor. The Microlift provides an efficient solution to the manual handing of small loads and improving health and safety issues relating to manual lifting of items.
