Environ results go beyond expectations for Harvey Nichols MediSpa

When Beyond MediSpa, Harvey Nichols’ already comprehensively equipped London clinic, decided to add to its portfolio of treatments and cosmetic procedures, Environ’s Ionzyme machine system was the natural choice.
Following the recent successful introduction of the treatment in Knightsbridge, the company plans to offer this and the complementary product range at its clinics in Edinburgh and Dublin during 2009.
The non-invasive system developed by South African plastic surgeon Dr Des Fernandes complements Beyond MediSpa’s integrated long-term approach to restoring, rejuvenating and maintaining healthy skin. The MediSpa already offers highly effective cosmeceutical skincare, light, laser, exfoliation and injectable therapies, provided in five treatment rooms by a team of on-site physicians, medical aestheticians and highly qualified beauty therapists. The bespoke approach to skincare includes monthly skin analysis and reviews to monitor progress.
Bridging the gap between beauty therapy and modern medical science, Environ’s Ionzyme Active Vitamin Facial applies a powerful combination of pulsed electrical current and low-frequency sound waves to boost the penetration of high-dosage preparations of vitamins A and C by up to 40 fold. The results rival those previously only achievable with techniques like laser and chemical peels and provide lasting, anti-ageing skincare improvements.
According to Beyond Medispa Director Joanne Such, two years of offering Environ’s range of retail products and hands-on facials had demonstrated such significant improvements in the texture and appearance of clients’ skin that the even more active facial treatment was quickly in demand.
“Although the facial is science-based it still provides a spa experience,” comments Joanne. “Our clients enjoy a 75 minute relaxing, pampering Environ treatment and also see fantastic results. Our customers love it, having finally discovered a facial that is affordable and works.”
