USB port as standard on all Astell circular autoclaves
10 February 2017
Astell Scientific are pleased to announce it now includes a USB data port as standard on all sizes of circular chamber autoclave.
Astell Scientific, the leading UK manufacturer of autoclaves and Effluent Decontamination Systems, are pleased to announce that in addition to fitting a TFT colour touchscreen as standard to all autoclaves, steam generators and Effluent Decontamination Systems, it now includes a USB port on all its circular pressure vessel autoclaves. This includes Benchtop, Compact, large Top Loading and Front Loading ranges. Further, this is a permanent change to the product specification, meaning customers benefit from an advanced digital controller with touchscreen operation AND the ability to download, backup and store sterilization data via a cable or memory drive.
To recap, the Astell touchscreen controller contains a data archive for up to 5,000 cycles and includes the ability to log sterilization cycle time, batch number and other useful data. The benefit of a USB port fitted as standard is easy to quantify - greater security of data, and benefits to audit trail and procedural stability.
Things which are important to modern laboratories operating in medical, pharmaceutical, educational and food & drink industries for example. For more information visit our website or contact us to receive a quotation.
