New Environ Skin Analyst has northern England cornered

Ingredients sleuth Alex Corner has joined Environ Skin Care as its' new skin analyst for Northern England.
A former beauty therapist, she stepped into the role having recently graduated with a degree in Forensic Chemistry, neatly equipping her to apply a particularly scientific approach to skin care advice.
Alex first trained at the internationally renowned Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy and worked as a beauty therapist and later manager of a Harrogate salon for five years. She then followed her yearning to learn more about the detailed science of chemicals at Sheffield Hallam University, including analytical testing of the constituents of cosmetic products.
Alex says, “I knew that when I came back into the beauty industry I would want to work with a company that ensures its product formulations really live up to the claims. I love using what I have learnt to show clients what will work for their skin and explaining why.”
Environ Skin Care, renowned for its emphasis on using results oriented ingredients, was developed by respected South African plastic surgeon Dr Des Fernandes. The formulations and treatments are designed to address the effects of UV radiation, pollution, stress and free radical damage.
