Environ supports Pure Beauty salon open day at Yeovil College

31 March 2009

Free skin analysis and vitamin facials were much in demand when Environ came to lend a hand as Yeovil College in Somerset staged a successful open day at its Pure Beauty salon recently.

In addition to the analyses and consultations supplied by Environ’s college co-ordinator Faye Layton-McCann, taster treatments were provided by Level 2 and 3 NVQ Beauty Therapy students, using top-of-the range products including Environ skincare, Jane Iredale make-up and OPI nail polishes.

The day was well supported by members of the public, staff and students, as well as Mayor of Yeovil, Councillor Wes Read who enjoyed a mini-facial and back, neck and shoulder massage featuring the advanced skincare range’s active vitamin formulations. All the students are qualified to treat both male and female clients using the Environ range following comprehensive training from the South African skincare house.

The Mayor said, “I was very impressed with the treatments – I thoroughly recommend Pure Beauty and would come here every week if I could!”

Beauty therapy student Leah Aplin commented, “The day has been really valuable for us and has added so much to the course. It’s been great working together as a team in a proper salon setting. It’s so realistic and means we can learn so much about running a salon.”

The Environ education programme for colleges is managed by the International Institute for Anti-Ageing (IIAA).
