Any Website Design continues Sugar Free success online proving Britain’s Got Talent
18 May 2009
Following the successful appearance of Sugar Free Street Dance on Britain's Got Talent on Saturday night, Any Website Design are pleased to announce the launch of the groups' new Sugar Free Street Dance website.
Sugar Free Street Dance, part of the Len Goodman Dance School, was formed by Louise Carlier, a former Freestyle dance champion with many titles to boast under the guidance of Len Goodman, the Head Judge on the UKs' "Strictly Come Dancing" and on the US "Dancing with the Stars" show. Louise has been taught by Len for the last 21 years, before taking on the challenge of setting up Street Dance at the School in 1996, which she still manages and teaches to this day.
Louise formed "Sugar Free", her first street dance group in 1996 and they remain unbeaten in all domestic championships to date, currently holding both the SDI UK Title and the UDO British Title. In addition, "Sugar Free" achieved third place at the IDO World Hip-Hop Championships in Germany, 2008.
Now with title winning groups and teams in all age categories, Germany saw all three of her groups, that were representing England, make their respective age group World Final, an achievement that no other country, let alone school, was able to achieve. Having won 8 UK Titles at the UK Championships and over 30 dancers representing England at the European & World Championships, Sugar Free Street Dance displayed their talent to over 10 million viewers on Saturday nights' Britain’s' Got Talent, judged by eagled eyed Piers Morgan, lovelies Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook and everyone’s favourite Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell.
Louise Carlier shared her thoughts about the team’s televised appearance;
"I am so pleased for the girls. They are all so dedicated and work tremendously hard, often fitting in rehearsals late at night around the demands of their day jobs. They have been an absolute pleasure to teach and work with over all these years and deserve all the success that comes their way. We have enjoyed working with the website team at Any Website Design and we are delighted with our new website which captures perfectly the personality of Sugar Free and showcases our success to date".
Stella White, Director of Any Website Design, and also a keen dancer herself, was thrilled to be able to work alongside Louise on the project;
"I am absolutely delighted to be able to help Louise and the team with their new website. As a keen dancer myself I have taken great pride and pleasure in working on this project and we are behind the team all the way. The site really shows the personality of the teams and also will allow aspiring dancers to get involved with the team and even learn the routines themselves. We were very excited about the Britain’s Got Talent featuring The Sugar Free StreetDance team and were on the edge of our seats waiting to hear the verdict. Having seen some of the routines, which will be available on the website, the judges would have been mad not to put the team through".
