M&M Turned Parts Ltd are approaching their 30th anniversary in January 2020. The West Midlands based Subcontract Turning Company operate the latest CNC Turning Machines.
West Midlands based Subcontract Turned Component Manufacturer M&M Turned Parts Ltd are approaching a special anniversary. The Company are nearing 30 years of successful trading in January 2020. To celebrate, they have teamed up with Approved Business to give an insight into the Redditch based family run operation.Commercial Manager, Tim Moss, Son of the founding owner and current Managing Director, Edward Moss commented: “My Father started the business back in 1990 as a conventional machine shop running Cam Automatic Machines. From the early 2000’s we started investing in CNC machines in order to offer lights out production and dropping off parts finished instead of having to do secondary operations.”
To date M&M have invested over £2 million in CNC mill/turn machines and currently have 15 multi-axis CNC Turning Lathes. Components are produced from a range of materials for sectors such as Hydraulic, Leisure and Electrical amongst others.
The company produce parts in batch sizes of 200 parts upto the many thousands. With a forward thinking approach and view to investing in people they seem setup to move into the 4th industrial revolution. Investment has been made in measuring equipment and mrp systems to offer the best service possible to their loyal customer base. The precision engineering company are determined to grow and evolve into the coming decades with a positive outlook.
