Resin experts HMS bring decorative surfacing inside with launch of its new website
12 February 2020
Improved site has a range of new features to make it easier for customers to search, browse and buy
HMS Specialist Surfacing has bought its excellent customer care online with its newly launched website. Conscious that customers want quick access to examples of resin installation plus technical insights, the existing site has been redesigned to meet the needs of its broad customer base.
The site has been completely redesigned to make navigation extremely easy, with clearly tabbed sections representing all available resin finishes for each customer group, supported with additional images and information.
Search is a new feature, allowing users to quickly find products, resin types and even answers to common questions via a new FAQ page. In addition, an intuitive quote facility helps both new and existing customers get a quick idea of how much their project may cost.
Orders can be placed online, with registered visitors able to purchase resin, a range of aggregate sizes and colours, installation tools and gadgets. The competent DIY expert and traders can also view ‘How To’ videos, which provide some useful guides to laying a resin surface.
Comments HMS Sales Manager, Laura Mott: “The redesigned site is brimming with project overviews, products and information, but in an easy to navigate, clear and concise format. Our aim has been to include all the details needed by our broad customer base – from local authorities, building developers and project managers of heritage sites to the residential and domestic market, all of whom are seeking a quality surface installed by a qualified team.
“We’ve added more project imagery, included quotes from some of our partners, and have looked at ways to make it even easier for customers to find what they are looking for and have all their questions answered. We still provide the great customer service we are known for, but the website enables customers to see exactly what we do, whilst providing a number of additional resources to help them on their way.”
HMS will be featuring more company news and projects on the site, all categorised to help make searching easy. And it’s easy to keep in touch, with clickable social media links, enquiry forms, showroom location map and one-click calling.
The site has been designed and project managed by MM Digital, who used its technical expertise to identify what improvements were needed, while delivering increased functionality and a great user experience.
