February Roundup
25 February 2020
As another month flies on by, at LaneSystems we would like to bring you our usual news roundup.
Before we begin though, have any of our female readers popped the question given it’s a leap year?North East Business Funding
Throughout February our focus has surrounded the available business funding in the local area. Whereas grants and funding have been relatively easy to access in times gone by, today it’s slightly different. Grants tend to be few and far between with funding provided as part payment towards specific projects. That said, there’s plenty around and in our first February blog we have listed a number of available funds in Teesside.
The Funding Process
At LaneSystems we help our clients throughout the funding process. From sourcing relevant pots of cash and the application process right the way through to the end result, we will be there for help and guidance. If there’s funding available we believe companies should definitely apply. If they don’t, less is made available in the future.
National Apprenticeship Week
We have been celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by congratulating Matthew Paley and Katherine Lawrence on all their hard work at LaneSystems. We really understand the importance of apprenticeships, taking them extremely seriously. Our team has enjoyed fantastic experiences with many apprentices staying full time after their training. Young people growing in confidence within the IT industry is wonderful to see.
We’re Hiring!
As our company continues to expand we are currently on the lookout for a 1st Line Technician. Here’s what we’re looking for:
● Ability to provide a first class service
● Identify & Repair IT Faults
● Confidence with new technologies
● Prepare laptops and PCs for delivery
● 2nd & 3rd line projects
● Professional, knowledgeable & friendly
If you’re interested, please email the team.
New Equipment & Carbon Footprinting
If you are looking at reducing your companies carbon footprint have you considered using refurbished machines? Better still, could you potentially donate your old PC or laptop to LaneSystems where we will fix it up before donating to charity? Both of these options are certainly great for the environment whilst also saving money.
At LaneSystems we offer a transparent approach to IT and have access to support you with funding. We have loyal clients due to strong business relationships and whilst our services cost, we don’t keep customers on a clock.
