What are the benefits of eLearning?
01 April 2021
- Delegates can get started on the theory session while they are comfort of their own home/office before attending our Centres for the practical element. The practical elements can then be done socially distanced.
- eLearning is particularly good for furloughed and experienced employees. For anyone who has an IPAF/PASMA/Ladder Association Licence which is about to expire – this offers a 90-day extension if they complete the eLearning part of their course.
- When the delegate arrives at our Centres, it minimises face-to-face contact between instructors and other delegates. You can skip the morning in the classroom and go straight to the assessment and practical. Getting the theory out of the way in advance gives delegates the opportunity to spend less time at the Centre and reduce contact with others.
- Access to the online theory session is straightforward. All we require is the delegates name, mobile contact number and email address. OTS issues a link to the delegate; the delegate verifies the email and creates their own account.
- After completion of the eLearning training session, a certificate is automatically produced and the delegate brings that confirmation to the Centre for their practical session.
