Every individual has the ability to reduce their risk of stroke by living a healthy lifestyle, including eating healthily, doing exercise, etc. Still, we depend on healthcare professionals to correctly diagnose this condition if we are unlucky enough to experience one. Approx 20% of strokes are not detected through the basic FAST test ( Source NICE), and as we all know, the speed of diagnosis and treatment is paramount to our future quality of life and health.
Our elearning/online ASLS (advanced stroke life support) course has been developed under licence with the University of Miami and is the only course of its type available in the UK. This course is proven to identify potentially missed strokes which will lead to reduced mortality and morbidity in stroke patients!
