Cranage EMC and Safety launch new website!
14 June 2024
At Cranage EMC & Safety Ltd, we are please to announce our website re-launch, providing greater insight into our testing facilities and capabilities. On our new site, you will find information around the EMC, Safety and Environmental testing facilities we have available at our laboratories in North Shropshire.
Browse the EMC section of our site to see the chambers we have available, including a 3m Semi-Anechoic Chamber for testing radiated electric and magnetic field emissions up to 18GHz and a Fully Anechoic Chamber (FAC) for radiated RF immunity. Our Electrostatic Discharge chamber (ESD) is used to test an electrical products resistance to a quick release of energy in an electrostatic event.
We offer pre and full compliance testing for both EMC and Safety. Pre-compliance testing assists in identifying any potential issues early in the design stage, which means modifications can be implemented in a most cost-effective manner. As well as pre-compliance testing, we can assist with on-site testing for machinery that is large or in-situ.
Our safety testing page details some of the common tests that go into most standards, as well as the facilities that we have available for testing, including flammability, glow wire and durability testing.
At Cranage, we have expanded our environmental testing facilities and details can be seen on our website. Our test chambers include solar radiation, temperature and humidity, and salt spray. We can also test for shock and vibration. At Cranage, we have invested in our Ingress Protection (IP) facilities and now have capability to test for IPX9, which is the highest rating currently available. IPX9 is a high-pressure and high-temperature test, and is therefore used for automotive, food and beverage, and medical industries.
We have added a dedicated ‘About’ section, where you can meet the directors of the business, learn more about where we started and what accreditations we have now.
Get in touch with our team through the contact page to discuss your EMC, safety and environmental testing requirements.
