ASSA ABLOY Contributes to Completion of Eastern Gateway in Ipswich

We are excited to announce our significant involvement in the recently completed Eastern Gateway project in Ipswich, developed by Trebor Developments LLP. This multi-unit industrial and logistics scheme, designed by UMC Architects and constructed by Magrock, features five state-of-the-art units ranging from 12,897 to 52,491 square feet, built on a speculative basis.
The Eastern Gateway development is a testament to sustainable construction, adhering to BREEAM "Excellent" standards and achieving an EPC "A" rating.Our contribution includes the installation of industrial level access doors and loading bay equipment, which are crucial components of this project. ASSA ABLOY supplied and installed insulated panelled OH1042P level access sectional doors in each unit, equipped with vertical lift track sets to maximize internal space.
Each loading bay is outfitted with our DL6010S swing lip dock leveller, capable of handling load capacities up to 6 tonnes, ensuring a safe bridge between the ramp and the lorry bed.
Additional features in the loading bays include OH1042P dock doors, DS6060A standard dock shelters, dock lights, traffic lights, and strategically placed buffers.
These buffers are designed to absorb the energy of any vehicle that accidentally or unintentionally hits the building, providing an extra layer of safety. We are proud to have contributed to the success of the Eastern Gateway, providing high-quality, reliable solutions that support the functionality and sustainability of this impressive development.
