Ashleigh Signs predicting a summer to remember! Ashleigh Signs, the award-winning signage design and production company, based in Rothwell Leeds are delighted to report the business has enjoyed an excellent first half to 2010, and are expecting trade to be buzzing throughout the summer. Business Development Manager Greg McIntyre explains ‘As the biggest hotel and pub signmaker in the UK, you’d expect us to be busy, but we are also really pleased to see a lot of our clients in the pub trade doing some brisk business on the back of the FIFA World Cup and some truly glorious summer sunshine!’ Ashleigh Signs have recently been involved in helping to make Barnsley one of the most talked about towns in the North of England, by helping to give the town a makeover. The innovative Remaking Barnsley renaissance programme identified the regeneration of the town's urban centre as key to the town’s ongoing success, and Ashleigh are proud to have played their part. Project Manager and local lad, Craig Gilling comments ‘The Plaza really is a landmark development, and we were determined to do the project justice by providing signage which works for the organisation concerned. The NHS walk-in centre is expected to be especially busy – 6,000 people per year are expected to access walk-in care.’ Elsewhere in the town, Ashleigh have also produced signage for Holiday Inn and Ramada Encore. Craig continues ‘We’ve had some great feedback on the projects, both for the signage solutions and our ability to hit demanding deadlines.’ Ashleigh Signs are a well-known supplier to the hotel industry, from the budget hotel brands to the Savoy in London, but increasingly have become heavily involved with a number of construction projects, especially in the education sector. The Design Team have been especially busy with new design briefs and award-winning Design Manager Shaun Laban comments ‘Getting a new brief for a project is what the job is all about – bringing new ideas to a project can make all the difference to the effectiveness of a signage scheme, and the impact it can have on the success of a business.’ Ashleigh Signs have also been involved with the Wakefield Hospice. The Hospice offers the highest standards of specialist care, and Managing Director, Tony Sadler is proud to lend his support. Tony comments ‘It costs £370 every for a patient to stay a night in the Hospice. Our dress down days, and our sponsorship of the charity Golf Day, the Sportsman’s Dinner and all of our charitable events go straight to the Hospice to support their work. Every penny makes a difference.’ ‘It’s a busy time for the business’ concludes Greg, “I don’t think any of us will be taking it easy this summer, however nice the weather.’ ENDS
