Wash-down checkweigher for large and Heavy products with IP 69K rating

OCS Checkweighers has extended their checkweigher range for ‘high-care’ environments by introducing the NEW HC-WD-SL.
The new system is able to handle boxes and cases up to 30 kg with conveyor sizes ranging up to 1,000 mm in length and 600 mm width. Built from stainless steel the new checkweigher complies to IP 69K rating, so can withstand regular wash-down procedures such as steam hoses, jet washers and even search foam.The HC-WD-SL is ideal for weighing large, heavy products with a throughput of 100 pieces per minute. This checkweigher is the result of a long-standing request from manufacturers for a precise solution that can weigh larger packs and boxes within ‘high-care’ environments.
The system is operated by a fully adjustable 10” colour touch screen which includes a range of different functionalities. Designed to work as a single belt checkweigher, the HC-WD-SL can also be adapted to the customers specification by incorporating an infeed and/or outfeed conveyor as well as a rejection system.
OCS showcased the NEW HC-WD-SL at the IFFA exhibition this May in Frankfurt. The checkweigher received much praise as being an ideal solution for the Meat, Poultry and Ready Meal market sectors. Based on the successful HC-WD system; which has been specifically designed for ambient conditions where strict hygiene requirements are in place. Customers also expressed their satisfaction with the reliability and accuracy of the OCS product range.
