New Polish sales rep generates sales for Eriez

Maszyny do Odpadów the new sales rep in Poland, has been generating sales for Eriez Europe.
As a growing dynamic economy, Poland had been identified as offering excellent business opportunities, especially in industrial sectors such as recycling and mineral processing. Luxor, a small company specializing in recycling solutions were very keen to work with Eriez to develop polish markets. Having someone in Poland who speaks the native language and who puts effort into actively seeking out new business is vital for Eriez to better understand the Polish markets and achieve a higher level of customer service. Eriez had already invested in recruiting Agnieszka Dzien, a Polish National, into the sales team based at Bedwas in South Wales.Since Luxor was appointed over 200 new enquiries have been generated for equipment such as Permanent Magnetic Pulleys, Permanent Suspended Overband Magnets and Metal Detectors. These enquiries were the result of exhibiting in Polish tradeshows (Poleko – International Ecological Fair and Plastpol – International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing) and visits to specific customers from different industries. Many of the new enquiries Luxor generated have since been progressed to orders which have helped to more than double the quantity of orders from Poland.
Agnieszka Dzien, export Sales Executive at Eriez commented, “Appointing new agents in Eastern Europe has helped us to increase brand awareness in new territories. Whilst Western European countries struggled through the recession, Eastern European markets seemed to resist the strain. The Polish economy this year has registered considerable growth which has given us good business opportunities.”
Eriez supply Magnetic Separation, Metal Detection and Sampling equipment globally. To ensure the best possible service is given to customers Eriez have a multi-lingual sales team, with fluency not only in Polish but also in German, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian and Welsh. By having a network of agents across Europe, Eriez aim to increase their knowledge of markets in different countries and whilst doing so provide a better service to the customer.
Along with Poland, countries with new representatives appointed by Eriez over the past year include Slovenia, Slovakia, Portugal and Algeria. These are in addition to the representatives from other counties that Eriez have already been successfully working with for many years. Eriez are continuing to seek out new representatives in all countries across Europe with the aim of further expanding the business.
