Metrix present upgraded DAQ Manager Software with new features
17 February 2011
DAQ Manager software enables recorded measurements and configuration data from MultiCon CMC-99 series multi-channel meter controllers to be downloaded to a PC. This data (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) can then be used to create reports as graphs for printing, or tables to be exported to a spreadsheet.
The data can either be imported via a USB memory stick or over an Ethernet network connection, provided the CMC-99 is fitted with the optional advanced communication module. A new feature is the inclusion of CMC-99 devices connected over the internet.Once the recorded channels, groups and device configuration data have been downloaded, it can be analysed and used to generate reports. The software can process the results from many devices and each can have up to 10 measurement groups.
DAQ Manager displays a log list for each group. Expanding a log list shows the list of recorded channels. Once the required log is selected, the program automatically displays the last 5000 samples. This selection can be modified by the user either by inputting selecting dates, or by mouse from the displayed time-line. This time-line is colour coded to show the data selected for a report, any unselected data and sections with no measurement data.
Report tables include the data for all channels and also highlight values where low or high limits have been exceeded in a channel. These tables can be saved as CSV files, which can then be opened with any spreadsheet. Graphs can include all channels, or just selected ones. Each axis of the graph can be zoomed to the region of interest, and then printed.
