Small space? Save up to 50% with a Crest to Crest Wave Spring from TFC
30 June 2011
Crest-to-Crest Wave Springs from TFC Ltd, offer the unique advantage of assembly space savings when used to replace conventional helical coil springs.
TFC's Crest-to-Crest Wave Springs can maintain the same force and load specifications of a conventional round wire springs, yet occupy up to 50% of the axial space, resulting in lowered operating heights, free heights and solid heights.Compact in design, durable and with a long fatigue life, over 500 standard sizes are available in a choice of either carbon spring steel, or 17-7 Ph stainless steel. In addition, the method of manufacture does not require any expensive tooling and therefore low quantity custom designs can be produced quickly and economically. TFC's in house engineering team will design the precise spring required and should any modifications be required, these can also be achieved without any tooling costs being involved.
TFC’s Crest-to-Crest Wave Springs can also be supplied in high temperature and corrosion resistant materials such as Inconel X-750 and Elgiloy.
