Echo launches new battery hedgetrimmer at BTME

ECHO will launch the world’s first battery operated commercial grade hedge trimmer, the DHC-30, at the 2008 BTME Show.
The new ECHO DHC-30 weighs just 3.5Kg, with the added bonus of no emissions, very quiet operation and extremely low vibration.
The DHC-30 is a must for all users in noise sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals, office areas and cemeteries.
The high performance 12v sealed battery is carried in a comfortable backpack, providing ease of operation, and maximum flexibility. The commercial grade cutter is 75cm, single sided. For added safety there are operator presence controls on both handles.
The DHC-30 is supplied with a rechargeable battery providing 4.5 to 5 hours continuous use, and is available at all ECHO dealer with a suggested retail price £299.00 + vat.
