New Environ Toner Hydrates & Improves Texture Too

Not everyone opts to use a toner between cleansing and moisturising but advances in product development mean toners are no longer just simple skin refreshers.
There’s now a skin prepping product that can make a positive contribution to your whole skincare regime. Whether dry, oily or sensitive, skin can benefit from using new AVST Moisturising Toner from Environ, the skincare range developed by leading South African plastic surgeon Dr Des Fernandes. The technically advanced toner not only includes a penetrant enhancer that increases the efficacy of ingredients in the AVST moisturising creams that follow, it also helps to boost hydration while refining the skin. The use of a pH balanced toner is an essential step in preserving the natural acid mantle that is an important part of our skin’s natural barrier.
The non-sticky, fragrance-free formulation helps to nourish the skin and contains several moisturising ingredients. A cocktail of eleven plant extracts has astringent properties, and together with niacinamide (vitamin B3), an unsung hero among vitamins, assists in improving the appearance and texture of dry skin as well as uneven skin tone. Honeybush leaf extract, from Environ’s native South Africa, has also been included for its antioxidant properties.
The toner is applied after cleansing in the morning and/or evening to the face, neck and décolleté, using cotton wool. It absorbs easily and leaves skin feeling soothed and refreshed.
