Business in the UK lose money because of ineffective recording systems
13 September 2011
Poor time keeping has a big impact on the UK economy, according to time and attendance specialists Access-to-Time Ltd.
A significant study by the IES employment studies institute suggests that the true total cost of unplanned absences can be as high as 16% of payroll costs. But these costs can be significantly reduced by introducing simple measures to monitor staff attendance at work.Access-to -Time Ltd are time monitoring specialists and have identified the need in all sectors for bosses to effectively monitor time keeping of employees. They have recently launched a unique new system called uAttend, which enables small and medium sized businesses to easily and effectively monitor their employees time at work.
uAttend is unique because it uses cloud-based technology together with a wall mounted terminal using finger print recognition to record staff attendance at work.
Alistair Slade, Director at Access-to-Time explains:
“This is the first fully web or cloud-based time and attendance system in the world with a clocking terminal that just plugs in and works. We believe it overcomes the issue of flexible or part-time working and gives staff and employees the confidence that pay slips will be an accurate reflection of time they have spent at work.”
It is estimated that businesses can save at least £200 per year for each employee by recording their time spent at work using accurate systems, like uAttend.
The Access-to-Time uAttend™ system start costs £99+ VAT and are available from www.uAttend.co.uk or on 01761 410 015.
