New energy conscious facility uses Airnet pipe to increase efficiency
25 October 2011
A growing window & conservatory manufacturer needed to move into a bigger production facility to install new state of the art production machinery and increase efficiency.
The clients’ primary requirements were to install the latest equipment that demonstrates their commitment to a policy of acting in an environmentally responsible manner whilst giving them the very best flow and pressure throughout the factory with the minimum of energy input.Paul Hennan of H&M Compressors and Pumps decided that Aluminium
extruded pipe work was ideal for this forward thinking company. He designed the system to cover the whole site with the minimum possible pressure drop. Working around the other contractors at this very busy installation created its own problems, but the systems inherent flexibility allowed the installation team to work round any issues.
The excellent flow properties versus more traditional Galvanised pipe work systems meant that the pipe diameter could be reduced whilst still providing improved flow and reduced pressure drop. The pipe work is already powder coated to the correct RAL colour for Compressed Air and helps create a clean modern look for this state of the art facility.
Westbury Windows is now enjoying the benefits of investing in a modern and energy efficient pipe work system.
