New Proportional HF PRO Valve for Precision Control of High Flows up to 60 LPM
08 April 2008
Sensortechnics presents the new HF PRO series of miniature solenoid-operated proportional valves from Pneutronics.
These valves precisely control the flow of gas in proportion to input current and achieve optimal system performance when using closed loop feedback. The HF PRO offers very high flow rates of up to 60 lpm at operating pressures of 50 psig and is ideally suited for medical and analytical device applications.
These 2-way normally closed valves can be driven with DC current or pulse width modulation and meet all specifications over their entire lifetime. They feature a very low power consumption of less than 3 W for continuous operation at full flow and maximum temperature. The HF PRO series offers miniature bodies with
5 mm ID barbed ports or face seal manifold interfaces.
Important features of the new HF PRO series are:
Miniature solenoid-operated proportional valves
High flow rates of up to 60 lpm at 50 psig
Low power consumption of less than 3 W
Barbed or face seal manifold bodies
Typical applications of the HF PRO high flow proportional valves can be found in many medical and analytical instruments such as respiratory devices and higher flow gas controllers. Due to its small size, light weight and low power consumption these valves are especially suitable for portable device applications.
