Special circuit board mounting sensor connector for temperature instruments

Labfacility has designed a special, polarized, high quality printed circuit board (pcb) mounting miniature sockets for interfacing with thermocouple sensors.

The custom mechanical configuration presents solid solder pins through the board for flow soldering compatibility. Convenient provision is made for a cold junction compensating temperature sensor within the moulding for use in the input circuit of the thermocouple measuring instrument. The housings are moulded in glass filled polyester to withstand a continuous temperature of 220oC.

Manufactured by Labfacility in Europe’s largest connector plant for a USA instrument manufacturer, the miniature sockets are fully DIN specification compliant for compatibility with other makes of equivalent connectors.

Labfacility manufactures all component parts for their extensive range of thermocouple connectors in-house which allows rapid and cost-effective development of custom variants.
