Promass 83O Coriolis flowmeter designed for oil & gas applications

Endress+Hauser’s new Promass 83O Coriolis flowmeter offers the maximum in high temperature and high pressure flowmetering for outstanding robustness and reliability even in the toughest conditions.
As well as a flowrate of 150,000 barrels per day, the tough O sensor will withstand temperatures from -40°C to +200°C and pressures up to 258 bar! It’s the perfect choice for harsh hydrocarbon processing applications such as crude oil processing and refining as it provides reliable flow measurement even in the presence of liquids such as highly corrosive hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The key to its hardiness is its materials of construction - all wetted parts are manufactured from super duplex (25Cr duplex), which is known to offer high protection against mechanical and corrosive strain. The materials fulfill all requirements in accordance with NORSOK M 630 and NACE MR175/MR103 as well as corresponding Pressure Equipment Directives such as PED Cat III, CRN and AD2000.
