About us

Established in 2001 the Wilcare Group is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of  rise and recline and static furniture for the healthcare and independent living sectors.   
Group brands encompass Wilcare traditional range of classic rise and recline chairs and the accentu8 designer range of contemporary recliners and static furniture.
We are one of only a few chair manufacturers that handles every element of the construction of our products, from design to wood frame build, cutting of the fabric and foams, sewing the fabric, then upholstering each and every chair. The difference lies in the quality and authenticity of our products  which all carry a five year guarantee against manufacturing defect.

SUSTAINABILITY
We care about our environment and with this in mind we have installed a wood waste biomass system that burns all our waste wood, which in turn heats our factory and eliminates the need to hire skips to remove waste. We have taken this a stage further by installing a state of the art Wood Mill that includes a CNC routing machine, which dramatically reduces waste in the production of our wood frames.
Wilcare has a policy of local sourcing to further reduce our carbon footprint with over 90% of our materials and services being provided by local companies.
