Touchsafe Pro Display Panel
The Display Panel conveys a mass of important information at a glance. This includes call type, call location, patient name, nurse identity and call response time. Varying colour displays and alarm tones correspond to different call types to help staff to easily identify priority levels. Reminder calls can be programmed to occur at pre-set intervals to assist with timed medication and nightly checks. Additionally, a brief patient medical history can be called upon, as can a site map.
All calls will display on the panel. In the event of multiple calls, automatic system triage will display the calls in order of urgency. On multiple-panel systems the panels can be set up with zones so only calls from specific areas are displayed on the panel located within that area. However, when cardiac or emergency calls are received the system can be programmed to display these on all panels irrespective of zone. The panels may also be configured to operate differently during the day and night to account for changing staff levels.
Now with touchscreen capabilities, your nurse call system can be operated with ease. Antimicrobial additives prevent the growth of harmful micro-organisms on all of our devices and these are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product.
The display panels link with our peripheral and telecare devices. These include our audio visual indicators (AVI’s) to sign post a call to staff on duty, radio pagers to alert staff no matter where they are and our call logging software which tracks and stores all call data for your records.
Touchsafe Pro Call Point
Being wireless, The Touchsafe Pro provides quick, undisruptive installation and flexibility into the future. New horizontal orientation allows the Call Point to attach to bed head trunking with ease. Alternatively, the Call Point can attach to the wall using just a bracket and two screws. The mounting bracket includes a quick release switch which allows the user to remove the Call Point easily.
Two-way communication software acknowledges that the call has been received by the display panel with audio and visual indicators to reassure the user that help is on its way. Once a call is cancelled our ‘Next Call Waiting’ feature informs staff of the next priority call in their area. This improves response times and prevents unnecessary journeys to the main display panel.
Optional pear push leads provide a means to activate a call from a handheld device and simply plugs into the bottom of the Call Point. These can be stored in a cradle or secured to bed sheets using a linen clip. Numerous other accessories and telecare devices can be connected to the Call Point to customise the system to specific patient needs.
Our Call Points are available in a number of configurations including integrated emergency or cardiac pull stops, standard emergency call pushbutton and they can be configured with or without LCD screens.
All Touchsafe Pro Call Points are embedded with an antimicrobial agent that prevents the growth of harmful micro-organisms. This protects users from the spread of germs and disease.
Battery replacement warnings, tamper alarms and regular radio communication automatically keeps the system functioning properly all of the time.
CP5000 Control Panel
Efficiency and speed of response are essential in a care environment. This is why, as well as the vital information that can be displayed, the CP5000 also allows ‘reminder’ calls to be programmed by staff which automatically activate at preset intervals for use in the monitoring of nightly checks or to assist with timed medication.
Multiple zones can be programmed and named for each panel allowing for ease of use and efficiency. The unit has an integral call logger which is very useful not only as a management tool for reporting anything that has happened within the system but also provides reassurance to clients/patients’ families.
The power-fail indicator and internal battery provide around 4 hours of back up power should there be a power cut for any reason. Being part of our Touchsafe® range of products, the CP5000 has anti-microbial additives to combat the spread of infection within the care environment.
Call Points- ATX4000/5000
Along with the latest CP5000, 869MHz, Class 1, Nurse Call display panel, the new ATX4000 and 5000’s innovative ‘two way radio’ ensures a secured acknowledgement that the patients call has been received by the display panel. Confirmation is provided by a reassurance LED on the ATX4000, alternatively by a status message on the ATX5000’s LCD screen.
As well as displaying the call acknowledgment on completion of the current call, the ATX5000’s LCD display provides a ‘Next Call Waiting’ message to improve staff response time. Combined with the optional Nurse Presence functionality the system can help overall resource efficiency.
Nurse Presence & Staff Alert
The staff attack function has two methods of operation:
- A push button alarm
- Lanyard pull pin
The staff attack function is compatible with the ATX3000/3000+/4000 and ATX5000 call points. The nurse presence identification feature provides a permanent record of the nurse in attendance. This facility allows you to track and monitor individual staff activity i.e. which member of staff is answering which call and when. This helps to provide greater clarity and accountability in care home management. When combined with Aid Call’s Call Logging system, care managers are able to analyse response and attendance times at client and nurse level and help improve overall resource efficiency.
Call Logger Software- CL3000
DECT
Digitally enhanced cordless telephones (DECT) provides text alerts similar to alphanumeric pages, two way voice communication both internally amongst staff and externally, PC text messaging to handsets and staff attack buttons on all handsets.
The 2 way speech capability greatly enhances efficiency in all aspects of communications; staff are empowered to coordinate activities and can always be contacted no matter where they are within the site. The staff attack buttons will alert all other staff that with DECT phones who has activated the alarm and the zone they are located in. The PC text messaging allows staff to send custom messages to selected staff when required (eg staff meeting at 16:00 today).
Additional advanced features are possible on per site basis. The DECT solution can directly connect to your existing phone system or to a new system from Aid Call. Compatible with CP5000 only.
J25 Pager
Maxpage
Bluebell Paging System
As well as normal pager functions, Bluebell can be used to trigger a call point to give a nurse present indication on the display panel. The system can be programmed so that all calls are reported to all pagers, or day/night groups can be set so different pagers are notified depending on the time of day. Furthermore, they can be configured into zones so calls are only notified to staff responsible for specific areas.
Using the Logon Terminal, any pager can be allocated to a staff member using their unique Carer ID. In addition, the display panel shows the Carer ID, giving management real-time information on staff location and activity. System activity and Carer ID are also shown on the call logger, allowing management to run reports on individual staff and overall performance.
Accidental removal of the Bluebell portable can be prevented by using an Exit Beacon or by programming an out-of-range alert. When the Bluebell unit passes the Exit Beacon or goes out of range it alerts the user. If the pager leaves site then it will start to bleep and can only be stopped by returning it to the charging rack.
Warden Call
Not only does the Reach offer a huge selection of features and benefits such as compatibility with all the latest monitoring centres and the facility to accept up to 32 telecare devices as standard, but the Reach is also being offered in a choice of Black or White units for ultimate customer satisfaction.
The Reach is also compatible with all of the latest receiving centres and comes complete with a Touch pendant including wearing options.
Touchsafe Pro Pendant
It is battery powered and communicates via two-way radio transmissions to ensure all calls are transmitted and received correctly. A red reassurance light will flash when a call is made to ensure the user knows it has been acknowledged by the system.
The pendant includes a large orange call button and a smaller light grey cancel button. It can be programmed to raise a normal nurse call, an assistance call, or an emergency call when the orange button is pressed. The call can only be cancelled by pressing the cancel button on the pendant itself.
It is supplied with a 900mm long woven neck lanyard with anti-ligature safety closure. Should excessive pressure be applied the lanyard will part − it can simply be clipped back together. When the battery is low it will raise an alert through the main system and indicate the exact unit that needs attention.
Door Status Monitor
The door status monitor also includes an emergency call button to raise an alarm manually on the nurse call system at any time. This must also be reset with a key.
For use with The Touchsafe Pro system, the Door Status Monitor has been designed to fit neatly and discreetly against any door. Battery replacement warnings and regular radio communication automatically keeps the system functioning properly all of the time.
Wrist Worn Fall Detector
The fall detector uses both pressure sensing technology and a solid state, dual axis accelerometer to detect when a fall has occurred. It allows for further configuration by giving you the choice of 5 sensitivity settings so as to tailor the device to the individual. It is also equipped with 3 auto cancel modes as well as the ability to disable this facility.
Audio Visual Indicator
Epilepsy Monitor
The Bed Epilepsy Monitor consists of two main components; a flexible and durable bed sensor placed under the mattress and a monitor with sophisticated embedded software. Together they detect the micro-movements of a person lying on the bed - even the heart beat and breathing, and the faster movements such as muscle spasms when person has a tonic-clonic seizure. When a person has faster and longer continued movements than pre-set thresholds the notification is triggered. This will sound an alarm (with adjustable volume) and send an “emergency” call via the call point.
The kit includes a bed sensor, a wall mounted control unit, a mains adapter and an accessory lead to attach the device to a call point.
Floor Pressure Mat
It can be placed typically at the bedside or at the door threshold and plugged in to the call socket of your nurse call. It can then alert staff even before the resident is up and about, sounding the alarm with a small amount of pressure thus enabling staff to investigate.
The Floor Pressure Mat has been proven to reduce the rate of falls and accidents considerably in numbers of hospitals and nursing homes throughout the country. The Floor Pressure Mat has a heavy non slip backing, is professionally sealed so can easily be cleaned for liquid spills and is fully serviceable.
The kit includes a RJ11 lead for connection to an ATX3000 plus, ATX4000 or ATX5000 room unit. It can also be connected to older ATX3000 room units using the W07221 adapter lead.
Air Activated Switch
Bed & Chair Sensor
The kit includes a RJ11 lead for connection to an ATX3000 plus, ATX4000 or ATX5000 room unit. It can also be connected to older ATX3000 room units using the W07221 adapter lead.
Activity Monitoring Kit
Big Red Button
The force needed to activate the switch can be increased or decreased to suit the needs of the user. One press of the switch will initiate a call on the nurse call system.
Ceiling Pull Cord
They are ceiling mounted for convenience but are supplied with an adjustable cord that is long enough to reach floor level. This is particularly useful in toilets and bathrooms where slippery floors increase the risk of falls.
The pull cord also incorporates a reassurance light in the main housing that illuminates when a call has been activated.
