Blade Sharpening

Dynashape is the UK's most experienced and technically knowledgable saw blade sharpening and repair specialist, having over 57 years of expertise and with a recent £1M factory and inventory investment behind us.

We sharpen all blades on Vollmer CNC Machinery, many of which are lights-out robotic models enabling production to take place overnight for next day delivery.

Circular Saw Blades for Ferrous Materials

Sheet material produced from HSS (M2) or with added cobalt (M35) is compatible with slow RPM chop saws for cut off operations. They are predominantly used for ferrous applications and accordant with manual saws up to fully automatic cold saws.
Understanding our customer's applications is key to creating the right product, we can then profile tooth forms and angles to suit using our CNC Loroch grinding machines, which use Cubic Boron Nitrin (CBN) grinding wheels to produce the blade teeth. CBN grinding offers an excellent finish and impeccable tolerances, enabling the product to be optimised to give the most significant result.

Non-Ferrous Cutting Blades

LOW ROCKWELL bright finish HSS blades (for fine non-ferrous sawing), are hardened to 57/58Hrc to allow them to run at 2,000rpm + “TCT” speeds, as the material is much less brittle. HSS blades offer a much finer tooth pitch than TCT saw blades could provide, this helps to eradicate the vibration produced when cutting thin materials such as window beading.
When sawing yellow metals such as copper, bronze and brass, the preferred industry choice is the 'bright finish' as the steam oxide finish tends to leave contact marks on the material. During testing in recent years, we found that TiN coated blades are far superior to both due to their low coefficient friction and self-lubricating properties.

TCT Blades

Dynashape offer an extensive range of branded TCT circular saw blades for the woodworking industry, for cutting MFC, MDF, laminated board, veneered board, OSB board, plywood, composite board, and all natural timbers.
We hold in stock a wide range of TCT wood cutting saw blades for all industry sectors, from portable chop saws, panel saws, beams saws, rip saws, and crosscut sawblades.

TCT Blades for Plastics

Our range of specialist saw blades are designed to cut all types of plastics used in industry today, from applications within the construction and fabrication sectors right through to engineering where a good clean cut in materials is key.
For cutting plastic extrusions, we offer negative cutting TCT blades in a vareity of sizes from 250mm to 500mm made to a very high standard for a great finish. For additional sizes, please contact us with your requirements.
Ideal for UPVC window profiles, extrusion for doors, conservatories, window ledges, deckng, soffit & facia, cladding and many more. We supply blades to fit all makes of chop saws and mitre saws.

Solid + Panel Cutting Blades

Bandsaw blades from leading suppliers DoAll and Starrett. We offer the entire range of blades for each brand covering all types of wood. The range includes blades as thin as 0.50mm for contour cutting fine hardwoods and thicker blades for cutting hardwoods.

Ferrous Cutting Bandsaw Blades

Dynashape supply a variety of bandsaw blades for cutting cast iron, mild steel, (medium and high) carbon steels, exotic and high speed steels. Our main brands include DoAll and Starrett who are known all over the world for their technological advancements and cutting capabilities. Our range covers all types of bandsaw blades, from bi-metal to carbide and carbon blades. Blades are cut and welded to your required length and professionally welded in our factory by our highly experienced staff.

CNC Tooling

Dynashape offer replacment TCT tipped tooling / solid carbide spirals for CNC machining applications from market leaders such as Titman and Trend that are suitable for soft wood, hard wood and most man made boards. Carbide tipped cutters are very strong and durable and tend to stay sharper longer than HSS tools, making them ideal for CNC machining.
We cover all standard CNC Carbide tooling types; grooving & sizing, finishing spirals, nesting spirals, roughing spirals, up & down compression spirals, profiling & chamfering, jointing & rebating, carving, insert profile scribing, insert V Groove, insert raised panel cutters.
