The Coffee Point Group’s environmental policy is second to none
The Coffee Point Group’s environmental policy is second to none. We continue to work towards a better future and with that we have installed many initiatives over the past that include:
• Save a Cup: We are a major supporter of Save a Cup, the industry scheme which facilitates the collection and recycling of plastic vending cups.
• c10c (WEEE): We now recycle electrical and electronic equipment waste including vending machines, cashless systems and other white goods.
• Low waste standards: We have set ourselves a target of 75% of waste to be recycled. This is being achieved through recycling of palettes, cardboard, paper, cans and plastic bottles
• Low emission standards: We have recently started to transfer our existing vehicles from petrol/diesel to liquid gas and electric hybrid vans.
Looking to the future we are keen to press our environmental policy onto our clients and suppliers alike. We have joined forces with Wasteconnect - The UK’s Public Recycling Database. Wasteconnect is a comprehensive reference for recycling points throughout the country.
