Integrated power specialist, Socomec, will be showing its comprehensive range of low voltage power solutions at Railtex 2015 at the NEC, Birmingham. Whether planning a new installation or upgrading an existing facility, Socomec ‘s low voltage electrical solutions for rail’s specific system architectures guarantee network safety and robustness – with unparalleled efficiency - even in the most challenging operating environments.
High Performance Critical PowerSocomec’s IP+ Rail range provides the very latest UPS technology for the mass transportation sector, optimising energy efficiency for high performance applications. The Masterys IP+ Rail UPS has recently been awarded the prestigious PADS product approval by Network Rail for its product and engineering excellence as well as Socomec’s capabilities in terms of design, specification compliance and verification.
The Rail CPSS (Centralized Power Supply Systems) EMergency range is designed and manufactured to protect passengers and staff in the event of a major power failure or incident. The system complies with European safety and fire regulations and is designed and built to be in compliance with EN 50171.CPSS provide emergency lighting in the event of a mains failure and can also protect other emergency systems.
Advanced Switching Solutions
Socomec’s Sircover and AtyS Automatic and Static Transfer Switches have been engineered to enhance power availability and simplify the electrical architecture, ensuring standby and alternate power availability. With ongoing investment in development, Socomec has been recognised by Transport For London as part of a wider project with partner, AF Switchgear. The Socomec AtyS has been approved by LUL as an integral part of a complete system being manufactured by AF Switchgear.
