100% conversion rate for Miele test wash centre
04 February 2009
Since opening its doors in spring 2007, the Test Wash Centre at Miele Professional’s head office in Abingdon has had a 100% successful conversion rate with all customers passing through its' doors, signing a purchase deal.
“Miele’s unique Test Wash Centre is used for demonstration purposes to illustrate what our machines are capable of. Any machine in our range can be connected in the centre as it has gas, three-phase electrics and purified water connection facilities,” said Malcolm Martin, Product Manager at Miele Professional.
“For customers based in healthcare and hospital environments, we can set up our cleaning and disinfecting machines to accommodate surgical instruments. Using a protein test soil and determining its results with a nynhydrin test kit, we can validate the cleaning efficacy of protein residue on surgical instruments. We can also illustrate the cleaning capabilities for concentric needles.”
The Test Wash Centre is also connected to a webcam where customers who are unable to come to Abingdon, can view these demonstrations via the internet, in real time.
