Tremco Rapide takes traffic after just four hours
21 August 2009
The latest Tremco Rapide deck coating system works by binding aggregates and resin together to waterproof the structure and provides an anti-slip surface to minimise the risk of slips or accidents.
In busy car parks, decks are subjected to extreme stresses from vehicle wheel turning and as a result, conventional coatings can fail within a comparatively short period of time. To overcome this problem Tremco illbruck utilises rapid curing methacrylate technology to deliver durability, decorative functionality and crack bridging capabilities for both intermediate deck and top deck projects.Flexible methacrylate technology in combination with a fleece is employed for the secure elastomeric waterproofing of vulnerable details and locations of high movement. Unlike conventional systems the methacrylate technology allows low temperature applications down to -10˚C in the right conditions.
