Approved Business wins international web design award

One of the UKs' fastest growing business to business websites, Approved Business, has won Outstanding Achievement in the Search Engine Directory category of the International Web Design Award.
Awarded by Interactive Media Council Inc. Approved Business was judged by an international panel of judges from prestigous companies such as American Express, Cadburys, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, OgilvyOne, Time Warner and Verizon.To win an award, entries had to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging system. Judges utilized a points-based scoring system which allowed each entry to receive a maximum of 500 points. By adhering to the specific guidelines and criteria of this system, judges were able to maintain the highest degree of fairness, accuracy and integrity and competently and effectively evaluating entries, delivering clear results.
The Approved Business website was scored using five specific criteria, each with a score from 0-100. Criteria included design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance & crossover compatibility. The total of these five scores can therefore establish an overall score up to a maximum of 500. Websites receiving an overall score between 460 and 479 receive an Outstanding Achievement award.
