Freedom of Customisability with Solartron
12 October 2023
Modifying designs of standard measurement sensors is often the only viable solution as a result of highly specific conditions required for the job.
These requirements can vary from high ingress protection, to shape changes (such as shorter or longer sensor bodies, or flat tips for accurate flatness checks).Hostile environments may require solutions with high and low temperature tolerances, or materials which perform well in highly alkaline conditions. Polymer bearings, FEP cables, and Marine Grade 316 ST/ST cases for corrosion resistance are just some of the options on one of Solartron's Displacement Transducers, the S-Series.
Many requirements can be catered to with various accessories and custom solutions.
Solartron offers that, and more.
Customisation Available:
✅Feather Touch option for Narrow Body Pencil Probes
✅Vacuum Retraction option of Pneumatic Standard Probes
✅Inline Connector Options
✅Cable Customisation, including Steel, Nylon, and Armoured
✅Various Tip shapes such as flat, blade edge, roller, etc.
✅Various Tip materials such as nylon, ruby, tungsten carbide, silicon nitride, etc.
✅And more...
For specific customised measurement solutions, our team will design, engineer, and build, to provide just what you need.
