The alternative to costly Asbestos removal.
07 July 2011
Discovering asbestos in a building does not always result in moving out or paying for an expensive clean up.
Under current legislation some asbestos can be encapsulated. Just one coat of easy-on asbestos sealer will bind the surface and prevent loose fibres and dust from entering the atmosphere. This simple process can provide peace of mind for over 20 years whilst costing less that £2 per square metre. The revolutionary product, developed by Urban Hygiene Ltd, was tested at the Ruder Boskovic Institute, Croatia and proven to prevent the emission of asbestos cement fibres whilst permanently protecting the material against further erosion.
Urban Hygiene produce a free guide “Managing ASBESTOS in premises” which is available by contacting us at: asbestos@urbanhygiene.com. If you have an asbestos problem, why not speak to them and see if they have the solution.
