Portable Staging Kits

Whether you are a school, community group or religious organisation our popular Q-build kits provide you with a range of highly flexible staging solutions which can expertly meet your needs.

Multi Level Staging

The simplicity, strength and flexibility make Q-build ideal within a range of environments and extremely popular. The system is a tried and tested portable stage which offers a choice of versatile layouts which can be quickly created from the same frames and decks.

Performance Staging

This flexible single and multi-level staging system can be used as a temporary stage, a more semi-permanent staging platform or as a stage extension to an existing stage such as an orchestra pit infill.

Tiered Staging

These strong, stable yet lightweight tiered solutions are quick to build without tools, and have a unique stacking and storage system.
Easily created from modular frames and decks, Q-plus can be built as a riser or stage and can accommodate seated groups on chairs or standing performers.

Stage Systems offer a design service, taking your individual requirements to produce a tailored solution.
Stage Systems has an expert in-house design team who can create, adapt and develop an individual stage design to your space. The service includes a site survey with full layout and design drawings.
Our designs can take into account obstacles such as pillars, steps or supports, uneven floors, fire escapes and irregular shapes.

Multi-Dek Staging

Multi-dek staging is ideal as a portable stage, a semi-permanent stage, a stage extension, an orchestra pit infill or raised flooring.
Perfect for dynamic performances and live music events, Multi-dek is suitable for both indoor and outdoor venues. With a load bearing to 7.5Kn/m², deck panels are 30mm thick and composite hardwood ply skin and a softwood core, with a UV-cured clear slip resistant acrylic lacquer.
Durable yet light and strong, and easy to transport and build, Multi-dek’s adaptable design means that it can be used as both a robust permanent or temporary structure.

Storage Trolley & Castors

Our storage trolley is an invaluable optional extra. It allows you to quickly and easily store all decks, frames and steps when the stage is not in use. After a performance, you just stack all components neatly onto the trolley which can then be wheeled away effortlessly, making your staging both space efficient and transportable. Replacement castors are also available.

Our accessory bag contains replacement tie plates and bungs for your Q-build or Q-plus staging.

Safety Rails & Step Handrails

Staging must always provide a safe and secure environment for all performers − this is a primary requirement of health and safety legislation. Our safety rails offer you the option of either vertical or horizontal bars, and simply slot into the frames to provide a safety barrier at the edge of the staging or steps.

Access Ramps

Our access ramps provide an alternative route to the stage and have a gentle 1:12 gradient as required under DDA regulations. All access ramps have side stop plates, plus strong and durable Wisadeck flooring which incorporates a hardwearing anti-slip mesh pattern for maximum grip and safety.

Skirting & Fascia Panels

Skirting uses soft fabric to conceal the stage legs with small curtaining which has a 50% gather, and can also coordinate with the back drapes. Fascia panels attach to the stage and are a different way to conceal the stage legs. They can also coordinate with the rest of the stage in a boxed design.

Varied Deck Finishes

Our reversible decks give you the option of having the same finish on each side or two different finishes − it’s entirely up to you. You can select from a range of finishes − standard, wood stain, matt black emulsion, vinyl, carpet or a bespoke effect, and mix and match exactly as you like. It’s just another way that Stage Systems products give you enormous flexibility and variety, when it comes to the staging options you can choose.

Drape Posts & Drapes

To add drapes to your stage, use our drape posts which simply slot into the stage frame to create a framework for back and side curtains. Our range of drapes are available in a flame retardant ‘dim out’ fabric, and offer a good choice of colours to match your interior colour or design scheme.

Steps

You can choose from single tread, double tread or boxed steps to meet your own individual needs and the requirements or limitations of your performance space. This choice gives you the flexibility of having different ways of getting onto the stage. All of our step units are easy to use and simply hook onto the stage frame.

Tri-Decks & Frames

If you want to have the freedom to create varied stage layouts with more unusual or angled designs, choose our tri-decks and frames. These combine to produce a tri unit and can be used in conjunction with our standard Q-build units to create an almost endless variety of stage configurations.

Communion Rails

Our communion rails are perfect not just for religious services, but also for all kinds of readings, recitals and performances. They look impressive and offer an additional level of safety. In a choice of oak clad or open designs, the communion rail neatly slots into the Q-build unit.

Portable Stage Hire

Stage Systems offer mobile, portable staging for hire at competitive prices. Our Q-plus staging kits are strong and stable, yet lightweight for an easy build, requiring no tools.
Q-plus consists of modular frames and decks and can be built as a flat, multi-height or tiered/riser stage or seating/standing system. Ideal as event staging for choral groups, audience seating, a performance stage, speaker platforms and catwalks, the staging can accommodate seated groups on chairs or standing performers. There are a range of stage options available. Prices start at an incredible £200 per week*.

Portable Dance Floors

Q-step portable dance floor is available for hire or to buy, the system includes a choice of an oak mosaic/parquet or vinyl finish. The system is an ideal solution for events such as weddings, parties and celebrations in Hotels, Community Centres and private venues.
