Plastic Grit Bin (400 Litres)

Plastic Grit Bin (400 Litres)

The 400-Litre Plastic Grit Bin

This plastic grit bin is made from high-impact polythene, offering excellent durability against harsh weather with waterproof capability. This bin is UV stabilised to ensure there’s no discolouration or deterioration of the unit caused by long exposure to the elements. You have a grit bin that can be left outdoors all year round without worrying about damage.

The 400-litre capacity has plenty of room for grit. This unit can be placed on the side of village roads, public footpaths and parks. The sloped lid design prevents heavy ice and snowfall from settling on top of the bin.

Please note that the ‘Grit & Salt’ on the unit comes as standard and is only available in yellow.
Food Donation Bin

Food Donation Bin

The Food Donation Bin

The Food Donation Bin has been designed for the collection of non-perishable food donations, with a large aperture to deposit larger food items. This donation bin has a galvanised steel lid and base; a very durable type of steel with rust and corrosion-resistant features. All in all, you’ll have a reliable donation bin that’ll last for a long time. The Food Donation Bin also includes a polythene transparent body so you and the public can see exactly what and how much food has been donated.

You can choose from a 120-litre or 160-litre bin with a large, rectangular aperture. We wanted to allow people to donate high volumes of food without having to worry about the size of the food packaging. That’s right, you can even donate the biggest cereal box you can find!

You can have your Food Donation Bin custom to you and your business. Choose from A4 or A3 food-specific artwork, or even bespoke artwork of your choosing. The donation bin also comes in several different colours.

Never Rust Litter Bin

Never Rust Litter Bin

The Never Rust Litter Bin

The main benefit of this bin is in its name!

The Never Rust Litter Bin is made from fibreglass, an impressive material which means your bin will never rust. And since this is an outdoor bin that’s popular in seaside towns, it’s an extremely important feature of your unit. With an extremely durable design, you’re guaranteed a bin that will last for ages, much like our other fibreglass bins that are still on location 20 years later.

This stylish rectangular unit comes with two large apertures to make waste disposal easy. Its 112-litre size gives you a fibreglass bin with generous waste capacity, say goodbye to frequent emptying! The slightly peaked lid means that rainwater does not settle on the top and the public is deterred from placing rubbish on the lid.

The fibreglass Never Rust Litter Bin is available in three different finishes to suit your requirements − choose from a textured, smooth or Victoriana finish. Our standard finish is a PTX textured paint that gives a rough ‘sandpaper-like textured finish, designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters from being applied.

Advantages of fibreglass

1. Damage resistant

The high tensile strength means it’s much harder to damage a glass fibre product by stretching. Their flexibility allows the fibres to bend without damage when subjected to stress or impact. Fibreglass also contains excellent thermal stability, leaving it unaffected in extreme temperatures, hot or cold.

2. You save on costs

This may seem obvious, but if you buy a bin that’s designed with longevity in mind, you’re not going to be pulling out your wallet every few months to fix those damages. If glass fibre bins could talk, they’d tell you to ‘put that credit card back in your pocket. I’m here to stay’.

The RLA/6 Double Timber Fronted Litter & Recycling Bin

This litter and recycling bin offer the best of both worlds with its fibreglass body and wooden slats on the front. It gives you a bin that’ll serve you for a long, long time.

The 196-litre size provides ample waste capacity that doesn’t require frequent emptying. What’s more, having two separate waste streams eliminates the chances of cross-contamination.

Are wooden bins good?

Well, that depends on what you mean by good. If you mean good as in eco-friendly and durability good, then absolutely.
Heritage Bench

Heritage Bench

Heritage Seat

The Heritage Seat is ideal for parks or even towns. The bench offers a Victorian cast iron vintage look. But we’ve thrown out the use of cast iron because it’s prone to rust and it’s not sturdy as a bench should be.
Instead, we use galvanised steel. A highly sought-after material that’s known for its rust-resistant and durable features. You’ll have a bench that stands the test of time.

The use of iroko wood for the bench seat not only adds extra durability, but a unique, eco-friendly, beautiful appeal that’ll wow visitors. Or you can choose to have recycled plastic slats for your bench seat to continue doing your part for the environment.

You can also add a logo of your choosing to have a bench that’s personal to you.

How park benches improve parks

When done right, park benches can significantly improve the morale of parkgoers. Having enough places to sit, especially in a big park, is crucial. You’re effortlessly taking care of your visitors while offering more visual aid to an already beautiful park − especially if you go with wooden benches!

Why are public benches important?

If your town already has enough to offer its visitors, public benches are an extra element that’ll entice people to stay awhile. Whether it’s a point of rest or a strategy to make your town look cleaner, public benches are the answer.

Can picnic tables improve parks and towns?

Absolutely. They’re a haven for families and groups that need a spot to nest down, catch their breath or have a bite to eat. And if you can place them in some picturesque locations, you’re on to a winner.

Are picnic tables better than benches?

Plainly speaking, we don’t think one is better than the other. However, they do have their advantages. Picnic tables are perfect for larger groups for a day outing. Benches are more subtle, meant for a romantic walk or a sit down between two strangers!
Wyatt Bench

Wyatt Bench

The Wyatt Bench

The Wyatt Bench pays honour to the Wybone Founder, Charles E. Wyatt. An ambitious visionary, it’s because of him that we’re able to write what you’re reading.

We’ve captured his vision and intertwined it with our in-house design experts to bring a refreshing, stylish and original bench design.
The seating is made from Iroko wood. Found in Africa, this exotic wood has also been sourced from PEFC-accredited managed forests, a non-profit government organisation that promotes sustainable forest management. We’re big on sustainability, so this was right up our alley.

And if you are as well, then join us in going a bit greener.

The frame, legs and optional armrests are all made using galvanised steel; an intricate process of creating a strong type of steel that will never rust. And since this bench will most likely be outdoors, it’s a feature you’ll be desperate for.

You can choose to extend the legs of the bench for simple concrete fixing or use RAWL bolts for ground fixing.
This steel and wood bench comes in three different wood finishes and steel colours, including bespoke options to add your logo on the sides. You can contact us to have this arranged.
