Wingham Wildlife Park Select the Evolis Primacy from Platinum Place and DED for all Season Pass Printing
Kent's fastest growing zoo and most popular attraction during the 2012 Kent Big Weekend, Wingham Wildlife Park is home to more species than any other zoo in Kent including Big Cats, Penguins, Primates, Wolves, Monkeys, Otters, Meerkats, Bird of Prey and much more.Wingham Wildlife Park have selected the Evolis Primacy from Platinum Place and DED to standardise on high quality season passes that will stand the test of time. Offering a full package of fun for all the family to enjoy, Wingham Wildlife Park also features play areas, mini diggers, go-karts, museum exhibits and beautiful picnic locations which are all available to enjoy for a full year with a 'one-off' reduced price season pass, now available thanks to the Evolis Primacy.
Print speed was of the essence when looking for a card printer to take on the challenge to print thousands of annual season passes at Wingham Wildlife Park. Budget was important too. Markus Wilder, curator at the Park commented “the main thing that attracted us to this printer was the print speed. It seemed to be the fastest printer we could find in the price range we were looking at”.
Over 220,000 people come through the gates every year at the park, demonstrating why speed is such an important issue. Queues need to be kept to a minimum, especially during busy periods. The Evolis Primacy can print up to 210 full colour cards per hour, colour is highly important when photographs are being printed for ID purposes. Season passes at Wingham Wildlife park include name, photo and expiry date.
Markus Wilder was also impressed with the 100 card input hopper on the Evolis Primacy. This feature means that the printer can be stocked up with cards at the start of the day and then minimal interaction is necessary to keep it steadily printing.
Markus went on to say that this printer has been “a very good investment”. Staff on the front line at the ticket gates have been impressed with the speed and capability of this neat little desktop printer and have commented that it has “at least doubled the amount of passes that can be printed in any given time when compared to the previous printer”.
The Evolis Primacy is a high-end id card printer that is easy-to-use, flexible and fast. When loaded with the Evolis cutting-edge encoding technologies, Primacy turns into the ideal solution to issue cards. Primacy supports any requirement in card printing and encoding, in medium to large runs. This is the perfect option to deliver transportation passes, payment cards, identification badges, as well as multi-feature cards. Primacy personalises colour cards in a record time. Up to 210 cards per hour for one side, and 140 cards per hour for dual-sided printing. The same machine can print on either one or both sides, the dual-sided option can also be activated on-site.
This flexible printer can also be fitted with additional options at any time, when magnetic and contact/contactless encoding are required. Platinum Place formed in 2011 have been a plastic card printer specialist for over 6 years and aim to provide quality products at low prices with fast delivery and excellent service.
