DED provide Star treatment for Book Tokens Ltd customers.
In a move towards improving sales of National Book Tokens electronic gift cards to customers through their network of independent book shops across the UK, Book Tokens Ltd have selected the Star Micronics TSP100 FuturePRNT from DED for printing all transactional receipts. Book Tokens Ltd are now selling National Book Tokens via a web application in store.The TSP100 holds an important supporting role alongside this new EPoS feature, by fulfilling a variety of receipt printing requirements. The TSP100 is being used to print not only the gift card initial sales receipt for the book tokens/gift cards purchased but also for subsequent receipts for purchases made on the gift card when the customer returns to the book store for further purchases and to display the value remaining on the card if required.
Alex De Berry, commercial manager at Book Tokens Ltd commented;
“we selected the TSP100 due to its low cost and ability to fulfil our application needs successfully. Any initial integration issues were expertly dealt with by the technical team at DED.”
Book Tokens Ltd offer National Book Tokens to allow people to indulge their passion for reading. As a nation of book lovers, over 70% of people in the UK read a book every week to help relax, escape the stresses and strains of everyday life and to learn more about the world around them. Also a great way to reward and motivate customers, employees and clients, National Book Tokens are an excellent choice of corporate or personal gift.
The TSP100 futurePRNT series is the first range of receipt printers on the market today to offer USB only receipt printing. The advantages of such a receipt printer are evident for applications in retail, hospitality, restaurants and convenience stores.
